This conference is sponsored by CALTRANS and it will be held at CALTRANS San Diego facilities.

Conference Chair: Dr. Carlos Paternina Arboleda (San Diego State University)
We invite submissions of abstracts, full papers, and student posters addressing the evolving landscape of the field. Topics of interest include:
  • Operations & Supply Chain Management: Strategic sourcing, logistics, and integrated processes.
  • Sustainable & Clean Operations: Innovations in green and sustainable supply chains.
  • Technology in OM: AI, Analytics, Information Systems, and Digital Transformation.
  • Pedagogy: Innovative teaching methods and classroom applications of real-world practices.
  • Student Research: Undergraduate and graduate research projects and case studies.
IMPORTANT DATES
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: April 15, 2026
  • Abstract Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: Rolling (aligned with PANAM schedule)
  • Conference Dates: May 28–29, 2026 (San Diego Segment) - CSUPOM presentations are scheduled for May 29, 2026. 
STUDENT RESEARCH TRACK
As a core mission of the Consortium, CSUPOM 2026 will feature a dedicated Student Research Track, including:
  • Student Poster Competition
  • Paper Sessions for Undergraduate and Graduate students
  • Consortium-wide Student Recognition Awards
SUBMISSION TYPES
Participants may choose between two primary submission paths:
  1. Abstract Only (Presentation & Proceedings): Submit a 250–300 word abstract. Accepted abstracts will be presented at the CSUPOM track in San Diego and published in the conference APP.
  2. Full Paper (Presentation & Journal Consideration): Submit a full paper to be considered for publication in the Journal of Supply Chain and Operations Management (JSCOM).

REGISTRATION TIERS
To ensure flexibility for our members, we offer three registration levels:
  • Tier 1 (CSUPOM-Only): 1 Day in San Diego - May 29, 2026 - ($150 Faculty / $75 Student)
  • Tier 2 (CSUPOM + PANAM SD): 2 Days in San Diego  - May 28, 29, 2026 - ($225 Faculty / $85 Student), Event Dinner on May 28th is included.
  • Tier 3 (Full Access to CSUPOM + PANAM): 4 Days, 2 in Ensenada + 2 in San Diego ($350 Faculty / $125 Student) - All PANAM events included
